Return Policy

Please note: Each manufacturer/fabricator is responsible for their warranty work which covers "manufacturing defects in material and workmanship" for a specific time frame... generally "Limited Lifetime Warranty" (during the time the original purchaser owns the product and properly installs it).  When/if you have a defective blind/shade/shutter simply fill out our online "Repair Request Form" to initiate the repair process.  If the fabricator determines the malfunction or material flaw is under warranty they will repair and return the unit (s) to you as quickly as possible once received at their facility. In most cases the responsible fabricator will pay for shipping, as well. 

If the fabricator determines the repair work is not under warranty, ie normal wear and tear, abuse, out of warranty time period (for instance: "re-stringing" is usually covered under their warranties for one year from date of purchase, most everything else is per the "Limited Lifetime Warranty" terms) then the customer is responsible for costs of repair and shipping.

If you have a blind/shade/shutter which you believe requires repairs please first fill out our online "Repair Request Form" and submit it by clicking the "Submit" button on the form. Review the "Repair Procedure" noted on the form so you will know what you should do and what the fabricator will do. 

The next step in the process is obtaining the "Return Authorization" noted in the "Repair Procedure".

The fabricators will not accept returns without the customer first obtaining a "Return Authorization Number" via Blinds For Less' customer service department from the respective fabricator/manufacturer of the product in question.

In the extremely rare situation where the fabricator determines there is no other resolution to the repair issue, ie if the fabricator determines that re-making/repairing the faulty product (s) would not solve the issue then a "Purchase Credit" equal to the amount of the original purchase amount will be given to the purchaser/owner of the product/s in question. The purchaser may then select any other product Blinds For Less sells including any product/s we are able to obtain on the customer's behalf for up to and including the amount of the "Purchase Credit".   Any amount in excess of the "Purchase Credit" may be charged to the customer's credit card.

Our objective in implementing our Return Policy is to serve our customer's repair needs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
